Team Belgium 2008

1) How did you first hear about the competition?
We first heard about the competition some days after the championship in 2007. And we directly knew that the next one should not take place without us! It didn't take a long time to become a group of 14 motivated athletes and 2 supporters.

2) How often you practise and how?
One of us has spend half a year in Finland as Erasmus-student, where he got addicted to the Finnish saunas. Back in Belgium, he decided to build his own sauna, which is now our trainingscamp. We try to practise at least all 2 weeks. The week before the competition we will spend a week in Finland to acclimate and to train every day.

3) What are your expectations for the competition?
Of course to take the title home to Belgium! :) First of all we want to have a lot of fun with all the people over there and have a great time!

4) How popular finnish sauna is in your country?
Not that much, there are maybe 2-3 saunas per 100 houses... so not so popular, but we will change that :)

5) Groups slogan?
The 16 hottest belgian frites! :)
